Very sad, he was one of my favorite actors on Everybody Loves Raymond.

Peter Boyle's role on 'Raymond' is one for the ages.

But I could not see him on any show or in any movie without thinking of him as 'The Monster' in 'Young Frankenstein' or as Carl Lazlo, Esq. ... Hunter S. Thompson's lawyer in 'Where the Buffalo Roam'! He and Bill Murray together were magic.
