As pro-choice as I am, I support this ruling. This will teach women not to be lazy and get one late in the pregnancy when they could have done it earlier.

That is the most repugnant procedure ever devised by man.
How anyone could take the Hippocratic oath and take part in the death of a fully developed baby defies the imagination.
So far no one has ever justified this procedure .

I'd like to have seen some provision for emergencies..such as the baby is stillborn. Or an 'exception for the health of the woman'.

But the procedure itself is beyond brutal.

Ginsburg in dissent:

The majority opinion, she told a stone-silent courtroom, "cannot be understood as anything other than an effort to chip away at a right declared again and again by this court -- and with increasing comprehension of its centrality to women's lives."

I'd like to see her, or anybody else, find the part in the consitution that says abortion is a right.

If the baby is stillborn, God has already taken the baby in His arms. There is no need to stab a pair of scissors through it's skull, suction out his brains and pull his limp body from the womb

If the mother's life is in danger, I would assume the less traumatic option as would be an emergency cesearean, as they can get the baby out in minutes, rather than the wait for forced dialation that's part and parcel with the heinous act.

When my 'twinsies' nephews were born, they spent a few weeks in the NICU and since I was a 'hand healer', I spent a lot of time in the NICU and there was a baby who had been taken from her mothers womb via Emergency cesearean at 29 or 30 weeks. Less than 2 pounds, she was beautiful. I wonder how she's doing today...that was 3 years ago.

P.S. a "hand healer" is what they called the family members who came in and simply laid their hands in the incubator to provide the babes with contact. It helps them thrive.

I'm not taking sides on this sh!t..but to counter that..where does it say abortion is wrong in the Constitution?

My only take is this has been an ongoing issue with the Court..and EVERYTIME..they have sided with the right to choose.

Personally, there are many solid choices a person can make..that are better than an abortion. Adoption being my favorite.

Finally a government entity got something right...lets hear it for
the child's rights...no one ever wants to talk about that when they mention someones "rights"

They have found that partial birth abortions are never necissary. I feel sorry for any mother that has agreed on what amounts to a satanic sacrifice done to a child. If you did this to a dog you'd go to jail. I hope they can finally nail that satanic high priest George Tiller and finally put his satanic church of grusome abortions out of business. I'm not the ultimate judge but I'm thinking that Hell likely awaits the Adolph Hittler of Kansas for all the babies he has slaughtered legally (UNTIL NOW).

Anyone that thinks a mother has a right to choose this so called method is a heartless person in my opinion.

How? When the Supreme Court ruled that it was a 'fetus' and not a baby, that's how. Once you dehumanize someone, it's probably pretty easy to do.

The Supreme Court and Liberals may call a baby a fetus and therefore, ok to murder, however, God says of the unborn, "I knew you in your mother's womb".....

Did not he who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one form us both within our mothers? (Job 31:15).

Yet you brought me out of the womb; you made me trust in you even at my mother's breast. From birth I was cast upon you; from my mother's womb you have been my God (Psalm 22:9-10).

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be (Psalm 139:13-16).

This is what the LORD says---he who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you...(Isaiah 44:2).

Listen to me, O house of Jacob, all you who remain of the house of Israel, you whom I have upheld since you were conceived, and have carried since your birth. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you (Isaiah 46:3-4).

And now the LORD says---he who formed me in the womb to be his servant to bring Jacob back to him and gather Israel to himself, for I am honored in the eyes of the LORD and my God has been my strength (Isaiah 49:5).

The word of the LORD came to me, saying, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations" (Jeremiah 1:4-5).

When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. In a loud voice she exclaimed: "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy" (Luke 1:41-42, 44).

God says murder is sin. (Abortion kills the fetus, formerly known as BABY.)

Believe it. Don't believe it. Everyone is free to choose what they believe. And accountable for what we believe. The reality is simple..... there will come a day when whatever one chooses, this is the one thing everyone will come to know at some point in the future.....

"For it is written, "AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW TO ME, AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL GIVE PRAISE TO GOD." that every tongue will "confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father".

Believe it or not.

Well this is what I have to say on abortion:

YOU NEVER KNOW HOW YOU REALLY FEEL ABOUT IT UNTIL YOU ARE FACED WITH THE DECISION AND EACH AND EVERY PERSON'S SITUATION IS DIFFERENT. SOME I SEE, SOME I DONT.

Noted. I'm sure God is glad for your imput. Don't think it will carry much weight with him though. ;) He always has the final word.

Thanks for the scripture quotes Jackie...He has already laid out how He feels about the matter...anything we encounter in this world can be referenced in scripture.

I concur completely! Well said Jackee and Paul and all the others who understand this is not a social issue but a moral one.
When the Lord assures us we will reap as we sow, this is a perfect example.

What will the satanic high Preist George Tiller reap? The man that has painfully murdered so many for $5,000 each in blood money? Is his soul worth so little for eternal damnation?

By a stretch you can say a fetus not fully formed is not a human and is not subject to laws against murder [ not my view ].
But how can you say a baby ready and only needing delivery to assume its place in society is not a determined apprentice lifeform.
If the mother or father deliberately killed that child in the womb without a Dr's shingle they would go on trial and loose any other kids they have.
Is a Dr's shingle supposed to be a licence to kill and not subject to the same laws every one else lives under.
Who made the Dr's God anyway.
Like Jenn said C section took the danger to the mother away and that procedure where the Dr has to turn the baby breach in the womb in order to do his thing legally is highly dangerous to the mother and of course death to the baby.
I can't see why this procedure has anything to do with abortion, it's plainly murder of a viable child.

It's called freedom of choice.

The problem with it is that this should have never become a political issue.

By being against abortion, that is YOUR choice. Supporting a woman's right to have an abortion is another person's choice.

Who's right? The man upstairs will ultimatley make that decision.

So what about the baby? Does the babt have a choice in not having to be turned abound and have scissers jammed in the head and brains sucked out? Are we that selfish?

Satan's alive and well in the "right to choose" death.

I think Mother Theresa said "It's a shame that a child must die, so that we might live as we wished".
