Tutterow To Crew Chief for Hagan

RADFORD, VA--Matt Hagan Racing is proud to announce a multi-year position for Todd Tutterow to crew chief for the Matt Hagan Racing Pro Modified program. Mr. Tutterow accepted the position over the weekend and the team is busy getting organized to welcome him aboard.

"Todd and I first met at Motor Mile Dragway when he came to compete in our first ever Pro Mod event back in 2005," remembers Matt Hagan. "Since then, he and I have lined up against each other more times than I can count. There is no question in my mind that he is a fierce competitor and team leader. Seeing him in action these past few years was all the proof I needed."

Todd Tutterow is a championship winning Pro Mod driver and has been running WYO Motorsports for over 5 years. His experience both as a driver and team manager will be an invaluable asset to the Matt Hagan Racing organization.

"The opportunity just presented itself," explains Hagan as to how the partnership materialized. "Todd was helping us test over the weekend and making adjustments to the car. It kept getting better with each pass, and my confidence increased. It just seemed like a sign that this was the person we needed to complete our formula."

That formula now consists of John Vouros handling fuel systems, Mike Janis's JAN-CEN motor/blower combinations, and Todd Tutterow as crew chief of Matt's award winning pit crew.

"There are no words that come to mind to truly express how excited everyone is to have Todd joining us," says Matt Hagan. "This is a huge confidence boost to this team, and to me personally."
