They sure looked a lot happier. Good to see both of them have a decent race after a lot of struggles. I was kind of surprised at how big of a deal ESPN made about Melanie running at the IHRA race and how it seemed to help her. Seems a few years ago the announcers went out of their way not to mention the IHRA.

I'm not one to pat anyone on the back or butt because of one nice pass or one good race- with that being said and me continuing on 
it is very nice to see both cars running well for both drivers and teams- I hate to see anyone struggle, and for so long... say what you want, but the Lucas' do a lot, for a lot of teams and this sport... continued success moving forward-
I didnt check holeshot wins- but, there are no give me's anymore- new tube, combo, hard work and that luck deal make for goodtimes...
