[coverattach=1]The full-spec NHRA Hillary Will Top Fuel Dragster is in the Western Sydney Dragway venue, ready for this weekend!

With the arrival of the 8,000 horsepower beast, the final preparations are underway for this Boxing Day Friday and Saturday’s battle for the Scott Kalitta Memorial Trophy at Western Sydney Dragway as Fuchs presents the Shannons USA Top Fuel showdown.

Photo inspections quickly reveal that Will and the Kalitta Motorsports team, led by ace Tuner Jim Oberhofer – have left nothing to chance, with a deep and impressive inventory of components for a red-hot assault this weekend.

There is no car items used or worn-out anywhere with multiples of every part imaginable – which shows that this USA team that finished right at the top end of the 2008 NHRA Top Fuel Championship, are very serious about their aspirations this weekend.

“We are here to hopefully bring back the trophy for Connie Kalitta (Drag Racing legend and Scott’s father), its as simple as that,” remarked Oberhofer as he was overseeing car preparations in the WSID pit paddock earlier today.

“I was on the phone to Connie this morning and the message was pretty clear about what we hope to accomplish here. It won’t be easy with the local racers. Bruce Read has been at me all week so far about how confident he is in giving us a run for our money!”

See you this Boxing Day Friday, and Saturday at Western Sydney Dragway!
