TJ Zizzo

tough one missing by 3 thou, TJ you guys did well , nice to see you pitted next to my buddies from Bode,

good chance ,the sponsor ( Peak) corporate wants to do a special type of venue for suppliers in Napa , great setting ,IMHO as my brother works out of Napa and you can't find a better place out west for entertaining

I did a day at the races in Chicago for 3 of my customers in this weekend , and had way too much fun , one from Green Bay , one from Milwaukee and one from Florida ,it's all about the venue sometimes

that was a nice piece on the zizzos.......they should do more like that
- was that paul page doing that piece?
- the broadcasts this year make such a big deal about the 'marquee matchup',
yet last night that matchup was doing their burnout and staging while
zizzo segment was wrapping up, cut from zizzo piece just in time for green
of marquee matchup.....just thought that the 'marquee matchup' maybe would
have had center stage :rolleyes::o

I have met TJ on a few Occasions, he is such a good ambassador for the Sport! I sure Hope Peak realizes how accessible he is to fans at the track!

They've had Paul Page do an occasional "special subject" piece for the shows since he left. He's been doing these things on various subjects, and I think he's been doing a pretty good job. From what I can tell, they're written and narrated by Paul

TJ's name on BIR entry list; hope that sticks, will be great to see
them up north for the first time :cool:

aside from all the news regarding castrol and ford over in the force camp;
word i heard last weekend was zizzo's peak deal is up for renewal after
indy......hope it works out not only for zizzos but for the team of sportsman
racers currently flying peak colors.
peak strikes me as having a lot of potential since the departure of honeywell;
hopefully they continue to see value in nhra drag racing and specifically smaller
teams like the zizzos.
a young lady who camps with us is a TJ fan from waaaay back when she was
a youngster; she spent last weekend with the team as a sort of honorary
team/hospitality member - she had a truly memorable weekend.

TJ is a great guy. He was doing a wonderful job visiting with the folks stopping by his pit Sunday morning and took time to pose for a pic with me. TJ seems genuinely interested in the people that come to see him.
