BAYTOWN, TX. – Tim Tindle and the Tindle Enterprises GT 500 Mustang headed by Chuck Ford recorded a 6.000 elapsed time to position themselves in the provisional No. 2 position after Friday's qualifying for the running of the O'Reilly Spring Nationals at Houston Raceway Park.
Being on the bottom of the qualifying ladder at the first AMS Promod Challenge Event hasn't deterred the T.A.R.E. (Tindle-Ashley Racing Enterprises) team going into Houston, their spirits were high and with their great run today has only targeted their direction in the right place with greater enthusiasm.
Tim said "Man, the run felt really good. We went out the first qualifying with a straight, pretty, and right down the track pass. The pass was smooth and felt decent, but I had no idea it was a 6.000 pass.
The game plan is to win a few rounds, enjoy ourselves, and prepare for the next event in Atlanta.
TARE Racing would like to specially thank TEI (Tindle-Enteprises Inc), Mike Ashley's Gotham City Racing, MSD Ignition, Goodyear Tires, NGK Sparkplugs, Lucas Oil, and Huntsville Engine for their continuing support.
