Englishtown, NJ – Tim Tindle, driver of the Tindle Enterprises GT 500 mustang, came to the ProCare RX Supernationals, Englishtown, NJ, prepared to make a good showing.
After qualifying in the No. 4 position, Tindle and team T.A.R.E. (Tindle-Ashley Racing Enterprises) squared off against Joe Mulligan in opening round action. Tindle took the round win and advanced to the quarterfinals after crossing though the lights with a 6.012 second pass at 238 mph.
Tindle will face Tony Pontieri in the next round on Sunday. Both cars ran low numbers for the round, but Tindle will have lane choice over Pontieri's 6.052.
Tindle said "This car has been consistent all weekend. Chuck Ford and the guys (Andy Pinkerton, Buak, and Andy Denny) are doing a great job getting her down the track. You can't ask for anything better than that. We just need to stay focused and give it our best. I feel that we have the equipment to get the job done and man it would be nice to win this weekend."
