[coverattach=1]MADISON, Ill. (May 3, 2009) -- Tim Tindle, driving the Tindle Enterprises Ford GT 500 Promod Mustang, suffered a first round loss in the Get Screened America Pro Mod Challenge at the O'Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals against Mike Knowles after qualifying in the elite No. 7 position.
Tindle launched hard off the starting line to suddenly darting to the right.
Tindle had to abort the run allowing Knowles to power away for the round win. Tindle ran a cruising time of 11.098 seconds, 76.29 mph to Knowles’ pass of 6.069 seconds, 223.99 mph.
Tindle delivered a good qualifying effort with his run of 5.995, 237.17 mph from Saturday, securing his No. 7 starting position.
After the completion of the St.Louis race, Tindle stays in the No.13 position with 100 pointsin the Get Screened America Pro Mod Challenge presented by ProCare Rx and has seven races remaining to catch up in earning a berth in the Promod Championship.
Up next for the get Screened America Pro Mod Challenge is the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals May 15-17 in Bristol, Tenn.
