SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fl. – After a three-week break, the AMS Promod Challenge returns to action this weekend with the ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals in Las Vegas, NV. With all things being considered, rookie driver Tim Tindle is actually looking forward to race day. As expected from a two-time championship crew chief, Chuck Fod and team T.A.R.E. took full advantage of the period between races, making several changes at the team's shop in Grant, AL.
"It's the last race of the year and we need to finish on a good note," said Tindle. We haven't had the best of luck, but I think this weekend will change. We will just have to come out swinging hard. We need to win this thing for Gary McArthur, a good friend of mine that I lost to cancer earlier this week."
More than $130,000 in prizes and purse money is on the table as the AMS Pro Mod Challenge presented by Tindle Enterprises, Inc. contests its last event of the season at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In addition to the $30,000 event purse and the $50,000 BAE Championship Cup Championship purses which will be awarded after the event, eight drivers will compete for their share of the $50,000 ProCare Rx Pro Mod Clash awards.
TARE Racing would like to specially thank TEI (Tindle-Enteprises Inc), Mike Ashley's Gotham City Racing, MSD Ignition, Goodyear Tires, NGK Sparkplugs, Lucas Oil, and Huntsville Engine for their continuing support.
