Tim Tindle is ready to take the Tindle Racing Promod Ford Mustang to higher grounds in 2011 following a solid 2010 performance. The team will kick off the Get Screened America Promod Challenge season this weekend at the Tire Kingdom NHRA Gatornationals. This weekend marks the beginning of Tindle’s fifth season in Promod. After three straight final round appearances and a successful test session at South Georgia Motorsports Park this week, the team is more than ready.
”I’m eager to get this season started,” Tindle said. "It’s definitely game time. The off-season is over and it’s time to put on our game face and hit the ground running.”
"We went into Valdosta scratching our heads but left there very optimistic after a few good passes. Quain (Stott) and the team have been working their butts off to get this new combination going and I think we are on the right track.”
Tindle is fresh off three straight finals in his NHRA legal promod. The Santa Rosa Beach, Fl raced to back-to-back finals in the Southern Outlaw Tour, winning the series finale, and then a final round appearance at the 2011 U.S. Street Nationals at Bradenton Motorsports Park in January.
“Last year was definitely a great year. We hope to keep the momentum going into Gainesville."
"At this point, our NHRA schedule is still up in the air, but we plan to run Outlaw, NHRA, and Big Dollar Bracket races this year."
Featuring the world’s fastest and most unique doorslammer cars with an extremely diverse collection of vehicles, including ’63 Corvettes, ’68 Camaros, ’67 Mustangs, and ’68 Firebirds as well as late-model cars, the NHRA Get Screened America Pro Mod Drag Racing Series offers something for every kind of hot rodding enthusiast.
