From what Don Long has shown us to Jim Mac on the so-called shortage of Nitro
both very creditable sources and NOW it seems NHRA has known for 10 yrs from Dale Armstrong how to calm the speeds and save money on top of that. Every time Graham Light speaks he has this cocky little smirk on his face and Tom Compton well you just never see him. Racers and Fans in a few months we will find out why Scott should have never lost his life. Right now as we speak the plaster is cracking in those executive offices in Glendora and when they give out it's not going to take an earthquake to bring the roof down. Everyday more and more surfaces and it just makes me sick. I hope your watching and listening Mr.Wally Parks, you have my sincere apology for putting up with this for so long.

Except that Wally, was, in later years, a proponent of 1000' drag racing.

and 10-11 years ago, Wally was still quite alive n' kickin'.

I'll bet he had some input. Might have been 180 degrees off of what you might think. Little late to ask him now.

I've heard on occasion, he was not the racers best pal. What he was, was the founding Father.

I'll agree that Glendora ain't perfect, then again, what, or who, is?
