This website needs a "here comes the boss" button

I just got busted reading the "accident waiting to happen" thread. Can't we get a hot button that will immediately toggle to a dummy excel spreadsheet when you click on it???? I've seen those before and they work really cool.

I do the same thing having several programs at once and my office is conveniently set up the way I want it for a reason.

Exactly.....I switch over to a parts order site real quick or our sales program. Luckily though, the owner of the shop is cool and into racing and other stuff, so he doesn't really care what I do as long as my work stays caught up. And I'm the boss when he isn't here, which is even nicer!!

Yeah, we all know the office cat & mouse game... what gets me introuble is you can hear me typing a mile a minute... then as soon as they walk in and I stop typing and everythings silent.... LOL. People have to get through a main door to get to my desk; but sometimes they walk so fast I can't click away fast enough. Funny

Same here, as of right now there are about 6 things open on my computer.

the other keystrokes that will close the window fast are alt + F + C in sequence (not all at same time.) I can use those a lot faster than I can reach the F4 key.

You all are lucky you can access this at work. Most websites are locked out where I work unless I am in the "internet cafe." That almost never happens because I almost never take breaks & this site is locked out from there anyway.

You are quite welcome I aim to please.

If you look at the top of your window, you will see letters underlined... alt + whichever letter you want will pull that menu, which will also have underlined letters add the next one in your sequence... life is sometimes faster without a mouse...

I got it made ! I'm the BOSS !
The [ not quite 500 lb. Gorilla in the woods ] , the big enchilada, the Tall man with the fuzzy watzits.

That said I still can't surf the net while traveling down the road like some of the girls who put on makeup , brush hair, pluck eyebrows while driving 80 MPH down the freeway.
There are some things even the boss can't do.
Been there ,done that , flunked out much to the chagrin of the statue of Sam Houston in Huntsville Tx. .
I can't even use a Tom Tom without pulling over.
All work and no play you know.
