July 18, 1969 while she survived for about two hours in the back seat of the submerged Olds in the Chappaquiddick, while breathing the air from an air pocket, Mary Jo Kopechne thought, surely, Ted Kennedy wouldn’t let her down, he would help her out…..he won't let me down, he'll save me.

Turns out he was more interested in his own life

Ted Kennedy/Ted Bundy what's the difference?
Oh, that's right -- it's the Media's reporting.
A lady my wife worked with for years as a nursing assistant knew the family quite well. The day prior to her death she announced there would be a special announcement soon. All believed she was pregnant albiet the autopsy was kept closed for some odd reason. Never doubt the power of Joe Kennedy or his kids.

God knows all about it! Too bad the voters there have no clue?

my favorite bumper sticker of all times?????

"Nuclear energy is safer than Ted Kennedy's car"

This was in '69, i wasnt born until '88. Can someone fill me in on some history? Reading your posts im interested/confused. What exactly happened? Who was this lady? All im getting was she was in a car under water for 2 hours and no one saved her...and its Ted Kennedy's fault...not good, i know that for sure.

I'll admit my morbid curiosity has me checking this thread for the supporters of "Teddy Boy" to chime in. We know you are out there. We know you voted for him. Please tell us where we are wrong so we can feel remorse for our statements of judgment on this miserable slob.

When you do step up with your pointed head and narrow shoulders, maybe you can tell us about OJs innocence too?

It's the reason Ted's been stuck at Senator all his life.

LOL, liberal Democrats on this board are the endangered species anymore. Like you, I thought there'd be Ted defenders coming out of the woodwork. The worst I ever hear Ted or John Kerry talked about is in diners around Boston. How this happens AND they get re-elected? Must be more white collar workers up there who don't eat in diners.

I was making a delivery to a Home Depot in CT this week and a lib from New York was in line with me waiting to do the same. He made a political comment and when I corrected him on it in a way he couldn't defend, he said "You must be a Republican." You shoulda seen the guy's face when I told him the Repubs are too liberal for me! We actually had an intelligent conversation because the guy based most of his beliefs in reasoning. He wasn't your typical "attack the person" on most issues. Even this guy was a fiscal conservative.

He is the only Kennedy that hasn't been assassinated, so what does that tell you? It's like the old Denis Leary (who is from Boston) joke, they killed JFK, then they killed RFK but when they got to Ted, they went "nevermind, he'll screw it up himself."

LOL, as if he'll do more good for the opposition if he's still around! Yeah, they wouldn't have a problem hitting him from a distance, would they? :D
