UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Two men were indicted Tuesday in the deaths of eight people killed when a car plowed into them as they gathered to watch an illegal street race in suburban Maryland.

Prosecutors said the gruesome wreck highlighted an illegal street-racing subculture with deep roots in the area.

I sent an Email to them thanking them for doing the "RIGHT THING".... As much as we tend to Repremand those for "screwing up" we also need to Compliment them when the media gets it right!

I couldn't agree more - not once was "Drag Racing" mentioned in the article.

If anyone reads the article in the link, it appears to have been modified some since originally released, however there is still NO MENTION of "Drag Racing"
