I should know this, but can't remember. Who are the crew chiefs for Tony and Cruz right now? It has been a revolving door at Cruz' team for way too long and now that seems to be the case for Tony too since Dickie Venables left. A little help?

i dont think tony could afford dickie and cruz couldnt afford rahn tobler... i have a feeling the snap on money isnt what he is used to getting and it shows in peformance... just remember that doug herbert let snap on walk bcuz they didnt give him enough loot

Dickie Venables left Tony cuz Tony was going to cut loose Dickie's right hand man and co-tuner whose name escapes me. There was a difference in opinion over that which was all about money, and Dickie decided to move on too, so Tony lost both guys. Cruz probably couldn't afford Rahn Tobler, or at least he couldn't keep him after the end of last year when his sponsorship was up in the air. If Snap-On hadn't increased their sponsorship with Cruz, he would be parked right now.

Correct on both accounts as I recall, but I don't think either of them are still with Cruz or Tony. I seem to recall Johnny West is now with DSR and if I'm not mistaken, he is with Fast Jack Beckman. Not sure where Tony Shortall landed but I don't think he is still with either Tony or Cruz.

it was kurt elliot... snap on did increase sponsorship but i think its on the smaller end of the spectrum and cruz took it sso he didnt have to park

Dickie left TPed because TPed couldn't afford Kurt Elliot (Asst. Crew Chief) anymore. In came Tony Shortall and Dexter Tuttle to help.

Rahn Tobler left Cruz amicably at the end of the season when Advance Auto pulled.

Johnny West was let go from DSR end of last year when Tobler became available for Beckman.

West came in for TPed this year, but was let go and Rob Flynn brought in on a race to race basis.

Cruz and a real experienced crew member are tuning his car, thats why he's not showing his furious side when he doesn't perform. The Snap-on money isn't a lot, but it was supposed to be enough for about 10-13 races. Associate sponsors were supposed to be enough to finish the season, with qualifying money.

Tony Shortall teamed up with Jeff Diehl for this year.

no, it hasn't occured to me at all - what has occured to me is that the
two brothers are presently struggling financially to remain on the circuit
and do the best they can with what they've got in order to persevere
towards hopeful better financial times in the future; if that means high
turnover for employee/s right now, then so be it.
i have not met the pedregon brothers; i do not know their personalities.
what i do know is pro nitro fc is better with them than without them.

did it ever occur to you pat; why was john force so upset to see tony
break out on his own? if he is such a 'difficult' person, don't you think
john would have been happy to see him go? or released him himself?
