In a business dependent upon sponsorship/marketing partnerships, the search for money never ends. If you sign a 3 year deal, not too far into it you need to be looking to replace/add to it.

Is Camping World truly a sponsor in NHRA? Outside of Charlotte, there is no mentions or even commercials during an event. I hit 6 events in 2025 and saw nothing from Camping World at any race I attended. They bailed out NHRA with Coca Cola leaving in 2020 but barely even executed any sponsorship opportunities. The pits are full of potential consumers on the sportsman side but to my knowledge never attempted to engage with them.

Most people don’t realize that Angelle Sampey was instrumental in bringing Mission Foods to NHRA. That was her sponsor that she brought to V&H for her bike. Mission fell in love with NHRA and quickly became the series sponsor. Mission is by far the best series sponsor that NHRA has had since Winston. Angelle still does a lot for Mission that goes beyond just the 2Fast2Tasty promotions.

Fortunately IHRA has unlimited money because someone said somewhere that the series is funded for 10 years no matter how much money they lose. NHRA has carried the sport of drag racing for the last 75 years so if they go under soon at least IHRA can carry it for the next 75 years with the unlimited money they get from Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. At least us fans have nothing to worry about for the rest of our lives. I’m sorry that my sarcasm doesn’t show up well on a message board.
