The Ace just confirmed what I think many here suspected, that teams are getting much more aggressive with the tuneups because there's "less room to run 'em down."
Like squeezing a rock. Somewere out there is a machine that will ultimately draw water out of it. But those machines are really expensive and take some pretty big brains to make work.

To phrase John Force, bottom line is the cars are not going any quicker to 1000' then they were when they were going to 1320. Floppers are still .05 off the mark. If anything they have to speed them up to overcome the extra weight that was put on them last year.
