Tasca Ford is having their open house and car show this Saturday (I hope the weather holds out) John Force will be there as well as Bob the 3rd and his team. I will be there as well. 10 to 4. If you're in the neighborhood stop by.

Rumour, Berserko, has it that Tasca is building a shop in the Charlotte area. I think from Gilby's blog.

They actually changed the Jimmy Buffett concert in the area to start at 3pm instead of 8 due to the storm! Hope it works out for John and Tasca.

Yep. Bring yer rubbers.
I was hoping to head up the road to Epping tomorrow but I have had my fill of jet-dryer racing. Looks like a washout up there tomorrow.

How did it go today Alan? I know up the road for the Buffett show we lucked out, last rain before the show as around 10a. It started again maybe 330p or so. People on the lawn got soaked!

They even gave Alan some press on page 2. http://www.tasca.com/custom/mustang.pdf

It went well. The weather wasn't nearly as bad as predicted, but it was bad enough to keep some of the show cars home. It did sprinkle off and on throughout the day. The crowd was down some but those that came had a great time. And they had some really cool cars, from old racecars to the most modern of the Mustangs. I had a great time and am looking forward to next year.

Thats great. If it does not interfer with the Buffett show I hope to make it next year.
