[coverattach=1]TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA – Continuing their trend of innovation and forward-thinking, SPEEDTECH Innovative Nitrous Systems recently made public their plan to provide on-site sales and service for their customers at a host of professional drag racing events in 2009, starting with the upcoming National Guard American Drag Racing League Dragpalooza V event at Houston Raceway Park near Baytown, Texas on March 5th and 6th.
After six months of planning, building and preparation, the much-talked about SPEEDTECH Service Center is nearing completion. The final step in the process will be to apply a vinyl wrap to the Chevrolet Van and 24-foot enclosed trailer, which will be applied at the SPEEDTECH facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama by the renowned vinyl experts at Fine Line Graphics.
“I’ve been looking forward to making his happen for a long time,” said Wayne Davis, business manager, SPEEDTECH Nitrous. “We have had a strong presence within the ADRL for several years through our race team, but we haven’t been able to carry a great deal of inventory with us to the track in our dedicated race trailers. Having a rig dedicated to on-site sales and service will give us the opportunity to take care of our customers when they need it most – at the track.”
A presence on the ADRL manufacturer’s midway has become much sought after in the last year, and SPEEDTECH Nitrous will join a host of other quality manufacturers and service providers in their newest endeavor.
Davis says the interior layout of the trailer calls mostly for storage space for inventory, including burst panels, nitrous bottles, various other replacement parts and even complete systems for racers or enthusiasts looking to take their performance to the next level.
“Not only will we be able to better service our current customers, but we will also be able to attract new ones and take care of the thousands of fans that pour into these ADRL events,” said Davis. “Beyond the ability to carry nearly our entire product catalog, we will also have souvenirs available for race fans ranging from shirts and stickers to flyers and hero cards. Needless to say, we’re very excited.”
Along with following the entire National Guard American Drag Racing League series schedule, the SPEEDTECH Nitrous Service Center will make appearances at both the REAL World Street Nationals in Orlando and the Shakedown at E-Town, which is held yearly in Englishtown, New Jersey.
Davis and the team at SPEEDTECH are currently weighing their options as far as other events to attend.
