it was after I entered my name. I tried copying the resulting link into Quicktime also but it gave me invalid url. I think portions of my quicktime software (recent update) are/is hosed. I may have to change file extention associations.

I wouldn't go to any extremes over this. It's just a silly little thing I thought was cute that kids expecially would like.

Well I fixed the player. And saw the penguin. And I see the side of a moiuntain. But no message. Maybe its snowing too fast?

Al..
Quicktime logo shouldn't be appearing..it's a little Flash program. If you have Flash installed (hard not to)..it should just play in a Browser window.

Ahh it seems I was the victim of the old 'file association Hijack" by Quicktime. leave it to Apple to try and display files their software writers dont understand,. I reinstalled Adobe Flash player and can see the name in the snow now.

Oh Al-l-l..... (shades of Peg Bundy).

What is supposed to happen is... you type in your name... or a short message. The penguin slides down the mountain, making twists and turns, and when you see the mountain again, there's your name or message spelled out. I thought it would be cute for kids to put in a phrase or their name, and see that the penguin wrote it on the side of the mountain.

Maybe I should stick to drag racing.
