Just over a year after the collapse of the I-35W bridge, the newly built bridge will open this Thursday. Getting to the south suburbs, which includes the MSP airport, has been not always a pleasant expereience. This should alleviate some of those troubles. Granted, it's not nearly the inconvenience that was placed upon those who were unfortunate enough to have been on the bridge when it fell. I'm still amazed that the death toll wasn't higher.

this is good news. surprisingly i've become very adept at accessing
the twin cities from the north via 35E thru st. paul; most notably the
airport/moa area.
will have to snag some vikings tickets soon and rediscover 35W into mpls.
