After running 4.152 in round one qualifying, what's up?

There were 3 cars showing DQ'd after the first session (Tasca, Smith and Paul Lee). What gives?

It looks like Paul Lee and Bob Tasca made hits in the second session ... but John Smith didn't.

All three cars weighed light on that first run, John's by 10 pounds. They added 20 pounds and the car then weighed 110 pounds over on the next run. Could it have been wet scales from the Thursday night rains? Team assumed blame for not pre run weighing their car.
