Fresh blood in the sport? Boy that ought to get the liberal's panties in a wad LOL!!!!!!

That's funny, I'm left leaning but didn't get my panties in a wad. I have zero problems with guns. My problem is with irresponsible gun owners, but I don't think responsible owners should have to pay for idiots mistakes.

I was just gonna ask what Sig Sauer was.....

There is a handgun right on the side of the car.

Then maybe your not left leaning as you think LOL

SIG's based in Exeter, NH...Awesome to see them onboard, even if it is short term! Next to HK, SIG has the nicest handgun out there (IMO)
And when it is quiet at the track, you can hear the millions of test rounds being fired throughout the day. I cannot imagine the amount of ammunition they burn through in a week. Just a couple minutes up the road from NED.

SIG is based in Switzerland. Exeter is SIG Arms USA, just some way to get around our gun import/manufacturing laws. They manufacture the minimum of parts necessary to deem the gun "American" and the rest are imported from their facilities in Switzerland (SIG) and Germany (Sauer & Son).

But I agree about HK, that is what I have now (P2000). I sold my SIG P232 to my Dad, and that is what he qualified with for his CCW. (HK does the same thing as SIG by the way, based in Germany with satellite compaines in the USA)

I bought my daughter a .22 caliber Sig Mosquito a couple of years ago. She wanted it because it has pink grips.
I didn't do enough research on it. Now I hate it.
The only ammo it will shoot, and not very consistently, is CCI mini-mag LR.
It stove pipes even with CCIs.
It's about to get traded for a Glock.

Your daughter might like this one. Ruger LCP .380 with pink frame. Works great with Horniday Critical Defense hollow points. Mine is black and is my EDC (or bug), with a Desantis Nemis pocket holster. For those days when a Springfield XDS 45 or the smaller 9mm (LC9S) are just too big.

Just throwing this out. It is possible Sig Sauer was not a paying sponsor on Morgan's car. They are an important new customer for Lucas. Forest was attending the race. There was wining and dining with Sig folks. After Morgan went out in round one the signage moved to the Lucas car for round two. It looks to me like the "sponsorship" may be Forest establishing relationships with a new customer and showing appreciation for their business. Just my opinion.

Yeah, that makes sense. And it is a good marketing move to have signage on an NHRA car. There are a lot of gun enthusiasts amongst NHRA fans.

I have never owned or even handled a gun, but that doesn't look very comfortable to hold just by looking at it!
