TULSA, OK (June 23, 2007) –Driving the Disturbed Motorsports Supercharged Pro Modified Chevrolet Camaro, Pro Mod racer Eddie Ware had a good outing, qualifying eighth in the 16-car field, and getting into the semi-final at the Inaugural Skull Shine Sooner Nationals International Hot Rod (IHRA) Knoll - Gas Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series at Tulsa Raceway Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Disturbed Motorsports Georgia-based Pro Modified team defeated Chip King from Semora, NC in his 1969 Daytona in the first round with a 6.333-second 226.09-mph run in the first round, and the 1968 Camaro driven by Matt Hagan from Christianburg, VA in the second round with a 6.244-second 226.20 mph pass. The team went down to Pat Stoken of Eureka, MT in a 1968 Camaro in the semi-finals with a 6.367-second, 223.54 mph effort.
“We had a good day, I’m disappointed, but it’s great for our team to go a couple of rounds,” said Eddie Ware about his Torco’s CompetitionPlus.com Pro Modified finish. “We want to congratulate Pat (Stoken) on his win, he flat out ran us in the semis.”
Stoken defeated Quain Stott driving a 1963 Corvette from Columbus, NC in the final round.
Ware qualified eighth in the 16-car field in with a 6.190-second, 228.42 mph pass.
“I’m hoping we’ve broken our string of hard luck for the year,” added the 32-year old Ware. “The transporter will go straight to Edmonton, Alberta from here; it will give the guys lots of time to prepare for our next event in Western Canada on the IHRA circuit.”

The IHRA CARS RV & Marine & Motorsport Rocky Mountain Nationals presented by Torco Racing Fuels, is scheduled for July 6 – 8 at Castrol Raceway.
