The Sapranos did not qualify as the best ending for a series. Those that did not qualify thhis weekend can blame it on the less than perfect track surface.
Maybe its a heads up , that Friday night is the safest time to lay it all out.
Not anything new, but the last few weeks have seen a larger than usual number of top names not make the show, esp. bad on Saturday.

Its spelled Sopranos

Hey, Tony's crew "whacked" Phil Leotardo! How bad could it really be? That was worth it for me.

Looked like a "set up" for a feature film to me. That would be awesome.

that last episode was like reading war and peace and the last 5 pages are missing. what a slap in the face to hardcore soprano fans. no ending and many unsolved things just in that 1 episode- ie- who will run the new york family? will silvio make it ? will tony go to jail ? did carlo really flip? ect ect. im hoping for a movie or a comeback in a few years, but paulie walnuts stole the show with the cat thing and the vigin mary :D man that guy is funny!

I read that David Chase said about the viewers, take the ending and shove it. real nice. i'll remember that when a Soprano movie comes out??

The only sound louder than a Nitro motor is the sound of 6 millon people cancelling HBO. Chase said " Watch the ending " " Its all there "
Meaning the door is open, just in case. If Tony was killed people would talk about it for a week or two and it would fade away, now its all people are talking about. Plus killing Tony would hurt future sales of DVD's of the 8 seasons.
