Comp Plus says that Rocky Mountain Raceway in Salt Lake City will be closed after the 2018 season. Argh This is a first class facility, could have been a nat'l event venue. I went there once in 1972, when it was called Bonniville Raceway (same name as the salt flats). Went to a Div 7 race, & James Warren won T/F. Was the first all 6 second ET T/F field. Lotta Calif guys went there. I drove my 1971 Ford Pinto from Glendale, Calif to Salt Lake City. The Great Adventure. heh Hate loosing another track!
