Here in Southern California we lost another member of the drag racing community.

Remembering John Kimble

John Kimble, one of the first successful black Top Fuel racers, passed away Jan. 6 and is remembered by friends and family as a quiet giant who loved family and racing. He was 81.

Sigh. We have lost another Hero. I remember John Kimble from OCIR mostly, before I moved to Arizona.
