Props to Morgan Lucus

When asked about Langdon getting a free ride in round one (due to his better chances at the championship), Morgan was a stand up guy. "No offence to John and Tony, but I'm not ready to turn this sport into wrestling! We're going to run them heads up!" Good stuff Morgan, sure earned my respect once again.

But the situations aren't even close. John was trying to put a sponsor's car in the playoffs, both of Morgan's cars are already there. John dove in a car that was a duplicate for that sponsor (Castrol) so no sponsor was going to get hurt.

I respect Morgan for doing it, but the circumstances are such that he has no reason to do otherwise...

Reading 2007 ... if he lets Melanie Troxel win in the team car, she gets into the Countdown ... They raced heads up and he took her out ... and Doug Herbert got around her in the points leaving her out of the Countdown ... That's close enough for me ... he had ample reason and opportunity to throw the race, but he didn't.

Congrats to Morgan on his third win this year.

I give him big props for that pedal job in the final... He got a little crossed up, and had to let is settle down and get straight before he got back on it. It was only a few tenths of a second, but it probably felt like half an hour knowing Shoe was having the same problems.

And let's note that John was not charged with anything, let alone found guilty. Polanski pleaded guilty and fled the country to avoid the penalty. Even without the moral issues (which are overwhelming and make him Norm look silly), it's not even comparable.

In summary: Morgan racing Langdon heads up is not equivalent to the John vs. Hight situation, and both are light years away from Roman Polanski.
