There is no reason for a dive ... Greg is in the Top 10 and that team is obviously going the right way in performance. They will have to be reckoned with in the Countdown.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised at both the final AND the race between the Grays. Good stuff.

I understand why people are shocked but in this case you shouldn't be. Greg and Jason have stated repeatedly, on the record, that there will never be team orders between them when they race. I believe they are both men of their word, and I haven't seen anything in any of their races against each other that would have me believe otherwise. In reality there shouldn't be any surprise when diving does or doesn't happen. Most of the teams have gone on record either saying they will never have team orders (Summit Racing, Don Schumacher after the whole Bazemore/Scelzi fiasco in Seattle) to the teams that have come out and said they will do whatever is best for their team, their business, their sponsors (JFR and the Harley team in PSB).

Very true Frank> But even though teams say they wouldn't, you never know until it's gut check time. Greg not being in the countdown would be a huge downer for the Summit team so you could easily see them making sure he gets in.

Also, even if racers do say they wouldn't do it, all it takes is one call from the sponsor and they have no choice.
