Six pages of this and that , come people someone here can post a still pic from the broadcast right ? I'm not questioning the out come of race , but I would like to see a pic from broadcast .
 
I think this whole thing started with the quote "it looked like". Which it surely looked like to me. But that's all the stock I put into it. Late

Do you guys realize that the broadcast cameras are also ELECTRONIC devices that have a shutter? Typical shutter speed on a broadcast camera is 30 frames/second. The super slo-mo camera has a shutter speed of 90 fps, and the mega-mo has a shutter speed of 1000 fps. The images are not synchronized with the timing lights, and we do not even know which camera is used at the finish line.

Erica's speed on that run was 205.26 mi/hr, which translates to 301.048 ft/sec. On a camera with a shutter speed of 30 fps, the distance moved between frames is 10.03 feet. On a Super Slo-Mo camera with a shutter speed of 90 fps, the distance the cars move between frames is 3.3 feet. On the Mega-Mo with a shutter speed of 1000 frames/sec, the distance the cars move between frames is .301 feet, or 3.6. Easy enough for the car to move 3.6 inches without the camera seeing it. There is no way to tell from the ELECTRONIC camera images if Erica passed him between frames.

But both cars are going almost exactly the same mph, so the odds that one suddenly overtakes another between frames is asymptotically approaching zero.
