Pro-Stock postponed until Gainesville

I think we should have kept Richmond and sacked Phoenix on the schedule. This is a joke.

From NHRA.com

"NOTE: ESPN2 will show the finals at 6 p.m. ET; there will not be a live NHRA.com audiocast of Monday's action."

Gee thanks NHRA...no audiocast huh

If the track isn't good enough for Pro Stock then how is it good enough for Funny Car, Top Fuel or the sportsman classes?

I wonder what NHRA is going to do for the fans that came to and paid for a complete show?

The first round of all Pro classes was completed.

That's all that is required for NHRA to fulfill their (contractual) obligation to the ticket holder, per their 'raincheck policy'.

Want to see the rest of the sportsman cars? Buy a LODRS ticket for this coming weekend.

Want to see the last 3 rounds of Pro Stock? Buy tickets to the preliminary days at the Gatornationals.

It was great to see Greg Anderson have the kahunas to tell it like it is. He may have saved somebodys life, or at least more equipment. What a joke (almost like Paul Page talking about the matchup of Robert Force and John Hight) this place was yesterday. If this is a national event facility, I am the King of England.

heard they were leaving if they were to race or not!

good for them!

That was what I was thinking-my guess is that the Pro stock drivers may have refused to run any more rounds Sunday due to unsafe conditions. As others have mentioned, in addition to the two cars that ended upside down, how many guys in the left lane shut off early during qualifying and elims? It's not like these guys are timid-if they are shutting down early there is a definite problem. I know a bunch of the Pro Stock drivers and they have complained for years about the left lane. Maybe now something will get done. There is no way that weather makes any sense to move to Gainesville much less only run one round yesterday. Either the NHRA decided the left lane was unsafe or the drivers refused to run. Those are the only two conclusons that make any sense. I'm guessing it was the former but I have no knowledge of that. Mike Dunn commented that the bumps make a much bigger difference to the Pro Stock cars than the fuel cars due to lack of downforce on the Pro Stock cars which would explain why fuels cars are running Monday and pro stock is not.

Is it just me or does anybody else think Larry Morgans car starts right up after everybody watching goes home.
This is not to downgrade Mr. Morgan,
He just might be the only smart one that says to himself:
;)Maybe its not worth crashing my $200,000 race car today.[?]
Thats just my 2 cents and have no facts to back that up.
