RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 6, 2007 -- Kenny Koretsky and Greg Hill's Indicom Electric/Nitro Fish Chevy Cobalt Pro Stock team parlayed three consistent qualifying runs into a 14th-place starting spot for Sunday's Torco Racing Fuels Nationals at Virginia Motorsports Park.
Koretsky began the weekend with a 6.705-second time Friday and backed it up with a best of 6.692 seconds and 6.703 Saturday, pleasing crew chief Eddie Guarnaccia.
"We made some changes that made the car more stable and it ran better," Guarnaccia said. "We also found a couple of things that have helped us during our testing last month. We kept working on the car and we are happy with what is going on.
"Our clutch wasn't right on our last run but is within a couple of hundredths away. I think we can give Kenny a good car and hope he does a good job."
