jay payne at 5.81...14 qaulifiers in the 5's....ray commisso at 251!!!!!! all in doorslammers... i love it and wish i was there

right now i believe this is the best class on the planet(and my favorite:p)

Indeed they are! Besides Pro Stock, my absolute fav! My complaint to NHRA is, when all the other "Pro" classes are running, they show the drivers photos and show what car is in what lane, show a replay of the passes, etc. on the "Jumbotron" screen, but for the Pro Mods there is just the "Get Screened America" logo shown the entire time - they will remain the red-headed stepchildren of the NHRA, unfortunately.

That wasn't the case in Gainesville, but I did notice theat yesterday! My guess is it cost extra to run that during qualifying, but I bet it's up come elims!

I have always held Pro Stock highest on my pedestal, but i now have made room for Pro Mod. It is awesome. Absolutely action packed. How about the driving job by Mike Knowles yesterday after no chutes? 240 mph, he hit nothing and stayed out of the pea gravel. WOW! Ray Commisso needs some starting line help too. No need for a red eye there
