Presenting sponsor returning for PMRA Pro Modified race at Cayuga
Paul Wolf Electric big part of event’s success

(6-23-08) TORONTO, ONTARIO – The Pro Modified Racing Association is pleased to have the involvement of Paul Wolf Electric and Lighting Supply once again for the upcoming KC Auto Parts Family Day presented by Paul Wolf Electric & Lighting Supply Inc., Osram Sylvania and Independent Electrical Distributors June 28 and 29 at Toronto Motorsports Park’s Cayuga Dragway.

“We’re very happy to have Pau Wolf Electric on board once again for this popular event,” said Bruce Mehlenbacher, Director of Operations for the PMRA. “They are a great group to work with, and their involvement for 2008 is most welcome.”

Along with its support for the June 28 race, Paul Wolf Electric sponsors regular PMRA competitor Sam Andreacchi of Toronto, who won this event in 2007 with his supercharged, 1969 Chevy Nova-bodied Pro Modified.

“The PMRA has become one of the top racing venues in drag racing, and we’re pleased to be a part of it,” said Domenic Calabria, Vice President of Paul Wolf Electric & Lighting Supply Inc. “We all had a great time at last year’s event, and plan to once again this year. It’s a great day out for our employees and customers, and gives them a chance to experience some great drag racing.”

Paul Wolf Lighting & Electric Supply Ltd. was established in 1963, and has been serving the electrical and lighting industry for over 40 years. For more information, go to Paul Wolf

As a single-day show, there will be three PMRA qualifying sessions on Saturday, June 28 starting at 2:00 p.m. Championship eliminations for the top eight qualifiers will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday night’s show will feature a fireworks display to compliment the racing action.

Also on hand will be another popular series of drag cars, the OSCA featuring the Super Street Outlaw cars, competing in the OSCA “Canada Day Shootout.” These stock-appearing cars run with unlimited engine restrictions on 10.5-inch wide rear tires.
