Pouring Mello Yello on Wally's

Am I alone in finding this action a strange way to celebrate a win ? Maybe it's like dousing the winning coach with Gatorade or the podium spraying from a magnum of champagne, but this for some reason feels different to me.

I guess when you can't stand the taste of the sponsors beverage, pouring it on the trophy is much more polite than barfing on the trophy girl.
