Portable Cell Phone Tower @ Gators

Cell phone signals at the Gators have been almost non-existant at past events, but yesterday I had no trouble getting a signal, thanks to portable cell phone towers, located in the parking lot. I never knew there was any such thing. Gotta give NHRA credit on this one.

Yep FEMA and some state agencies role them into disaster areas to supplement and restore communications if needed.

I wonder if I-card can receive signals from them?

NASCAR has used them too. Saw them in New Hampshire a few years ago spread out amongst the parking lots. Big Sprint logos on them of course.
