Funny car only or FC and TF dragster?
I think that's TF, FC, PS, and PSB.

just a comparison
2025 pomona is at 333 entries, running over 4 days. musco lighting if needed, and a curfew i believe
2024 pomona plagued by rain. event was held one week earlier than this year. phoenix followed after.
2025 gainesville had 500 entries, ran over 4 days. lights and no curfew + rain.
2024 gainesville lost FC Q4, otherwise event ran as scheduled. last year and this year gainesville ran on same weekend in early march.
if weather holds with cool temps, and track prep holds; FC qualifying will be a battle. i hope j. rupert(with tobler tuning) can get in show,
and duplicate, or come close to that 3.91 he ran in finals last fall.

I didn’t go real in-depth with it, as I couldn’t find an actual breakdown of all the wins. I’m assuming it is all around Wally’s won; but I would have to think between Capps, Hagan, Beckman, Johnson, Scelzi etc; there would be quite a few in funny car

Pomona Weather should be great for quick ET's. The downside to Pomona is there is a small bump in one lane and if I remember correctly it has the shortest shutoff of any of the National tracks. Pro's need to make sure their chutes work good. It's one of or is the quickest track on the circuit.

Ohh yea that sand trap come up mighty quick when there’s an issue.
Yes but with fields of 40 rather than 16 that whittles the odds down somewhat.

Your right about the numbers Carl, but I believe the numbers of cars that can win in both series is a small number, that being said racing is very differnt each having there own unique set of challenges

I couldn't find that info either. I'm sure their are stat books out there. With DSR having 367 total event wins and JFR having 299 wins just in FC it would be interesting to know how many FC wins DSR had.
