Not going to Norwalk, we'll be at Bristol and I've got tickets to the fall race at ZMax, not planning on going right now. That could change.

I'm at the Trans Am Nationals in Dayton, OH the week before Indy, and since I have a vested interest in Trans Ams, I gotta be there! So close, yet the pocketbook says so far away.

I've still got my 15 years worth of U S Nationals memories to fall back on, and boy, are they some great memories!

Trans Am Nationals rules say that if you win your class one year, you don't get to compete the next year. But I'm going anyway.

Winner can't defend title....what kinda rule is THAT???

It's not a bad rule, it keeps the same car from winning every year, meaning the other participants would start staying home. I can live with it.

I say a weight penalty or start from the rear. Beats not being allowed back.

The Trans Am Nationals is a car show only, but I guess that they could make you dump a vacuum cleaner bag of car hair or something on your car before judging.
