First off, thanks to everyone for playing the game. I'm not sure how many seasons I have been running this now but I really enjoy doing it. Having so many people that want to play makes it even better. Although it does seem to lower my odds of winning.

Congrats to Eugene who takes the season championship. Also congrats to the top 10 finishers. Remember it is acceptable for your to put your top 10 number on your daily driver's window.

Thanks to Ray Ghio who double checks me throughout the year.

I think the only change we made this season was the one race carry over in case you missed getting your picks. I am open to discussion as to if we keep that or not. As always any other suggestions are welcome. I usually start a poll in January on anything that needs to be voted on.

I am taking part in my yearly polar plunge for Special Olympics in January. I would love your support, please see the link below for donations. Oh and I apologize for any damage the picture might do :)

PJ, thanks for running the contest.
Eugene Gray congrats on being the 2013 season champion.
Congrats to all that finished in the top 10.

As far as your questions about next year, I would say drop the "carry over".
We are all grown folks, we shouldn't need you to have to put in our picks for us. If we DNQ, so be it.

Also, just to change things up a bit, give us 6 picks.

Enjoy yer rest during the off season, be safe on that lake plunge.

Thx PJ! I really did horrible this year tho lol

Thanks again PJ!! Well done Eugene!!

My first year I have done the full season and am a bit disappointed I finished below Mike V as I was hoping I could at least say I was the number 1 Aussie. That one week I missed the deadline cost me.

Looking forward to climbing up the ladder next season.

Thanks for doing this PJ! How about next year at the beginning of the countdown each player selects 5 people who will win the championship, 25 points for each winner they pick with no additional points for runner up etc. That would enable some of us to make a big leap at the end of the year.

Thank you PJ and congrats, Eugene, on being the 2013 champ!

I started doing this mid year. I love it and appreciate all you do to keep it going. I would suggest one extra pick for #1 qualifier. If you pick the #1 qualifier from one of the four pro classes you should get an extra 10 points or so.

Keep the ideas coming.... Not tossing anything out, just discussing

TY-only problem with the #1 qualifier points is that we would have to bump up the deadline then. After years of having a Friday night deadline moving it will likely cause many people to miss it.

Craig-As an ardent anti-countdown person, you would have to get lots of people on board for me to award extra points during it :)

All- I'm not opposed to having 6. Just realize that with the more options there are, the more likely it will be for ties. You may get more points as you hope but, so will everyone else. The variety between the picks will not happen as much. This year was much more open with picks. In the years where Edwards, Anderson, Schumacher or the Harley's were dominating, we had very little difference among the picks. Most went safe and few would try to grab that one off crazy win out of nowhere pick.
If enough people like this though, we can put it to a vote in Janurary

Thank's everyone it was a lot of fun. I don't have any big name sponsors to thank, so i will just thank the Salty Dawg Saloon for keeping me nourished through this long and grueling season that can pay it's toll on a small low bucks independent team. I also would like to thank my Gateway laptop for not crashing halfway through the season like it did last year, and last but not least i would really like to thank PJ for doing such an outstanding job with this game so that we all can have such a great time and a lot of fun. The season isn't quite over yet, i still have to drive Bodes hauler back to Chicago and fly home and then my season is done.:D

Eugene great job!!
Thanks PJ for your hard work.
How about one set of picks for the entire year that is used if you miss the deadline?

PJ, thanks, all your hard work turns into a lot of fun for the
rest of us.....it is appreciated.

Thank you very much for the game PJ! I didn't get picks in at every event but certainly enjoyed watching my picks lose on the events I did get! :p

Seriously though thank you very much for the work you do!!

Thanks, PJ and kudos to Eugene! Fantastic year although I stunk up the joint and missed a race, or 2  next year I vow to be better...

Keep the 5 slots, makes it a bit of a challenge and keep the carry over. I wish we still had the older version, I would pick ahead of time especially if I knew I would be out of town.
