I had noticed you didn't have your pic's in late Friday night. You are only two spots behind me. I know it sucks when you forget to make the pic'cs. I forgot about the K&N horsepower challenge pro-stock race at Norwalk, and at the time I was picking Mike Edwards for all my pro-stock pic's, and that cost me 2-points. You don't realize how important those extra points are until you are in the top 10 with only three races left. Don't give up hope yet because most of the pic's are the same cars, and I just looked at the weather forcast and it shows 57 degrees for first round of top fuel, and that means it could be a tire shaker track and have some upsets. You only need a few certain cars to go out early and you would not fall to far behind.

Man did I goof up. I checked the weather forcast for Sunday on Friday night and it showed it was going to be cold on Sunday morning so I took Hagen out and put Force in at the last minute. I thought there might be a lot of tire shake in the first round and force is pretty good at saving a run.just watched the upset of the year. Creasy over Force. ESPN 3... way

I used to do the same thing all the time. It always bit me in the a$$!
I just make my picks .... and cross my fingers. I was always over-thinking everything. You are sure right about that. I will have to make my pic's for Vegas, and Pomona next week, because I will be to busy to make any changes after I leave for the race. One thing I will not do is pick teammates if their not both going for the championship. That bit me twice for Maple Grove. If my calculations are right I fell from 7th to 8th. Now I have to decide if I want to make some hell Mary pic,s and try for the win or go with more conservative pic's and try for a top 5 finish. But if no one remembers 2nd place they sure won't remember 5th place. Dam I'd better go to in-n-out burger and think about this with a double-double.I used to do the same thing all the time. I was leading a few races ago and had a couple of horrible weeks in a row and Im in 20th now
PJ, thanks for all you do running this contest. I guess I am proof that even a blind squirrel finds a nut once and awhile. This has been a lot of fun !!
