wow, those are some amazing pictures he ended up snapping. Don't know if i'd ever have the nerve to stand there and snap away like he did, but he sure did end up with some "one of a kind" shots

I could see your point! Had he gotten hurt would NHRA be liable for allowing them to stand that close?

You can bet they have to sign all kinds of liability releases, and probably show proof of liability insurance, before they are allowed to wear one of those vest.

I think it was the fact that the Motor weight was on the side of the track thus pulling the car back!
