did I miss an announcement about Dejoria running a mustang and does this mean Arend will also be piloting a mustang

I know it's tough to tell without the graphics, bit it looked like a Toyota body to me.

I like the way they marked the front fender for Del. "Stage me to here" Or something to that effect.

Jim Head, I believe, was working on something along those lines last year. Avoids running it through the frame, plus larger diameter tubing.

I saw a system like that on Jim Head's Car at the 2011 finals and talked with him about it. It is a containment system.

Didn't she used to work with the McMillen crew or am I wrong?

And I agree, the view from inside the ARMY car is awesome.

She crewed on Alexis' team towards the end of last season.

The view from the Army cockpit is cool, but I'm not a fan of the design personally.

Is that the new 'Camry' body?

That car kinda' falls in the cracks in the body rules. Toyota sells it as the Solara. It is, in a practical sense, a Camry coupe though not badged as such. Toyota includes the Solara in reports of Camry sales.
So it a Solara or a Camry? The NHRA allows that body, based on the Solara, to now be identified as a Camry.
I agree with those who scoff at the whole deal since none of the funny car bodies look much like their purported model. Add the giant wings and the crazy paint jobs and we're stuck with the grille decals for identification.
Gotta' love those nostalgia cars.
Cheers,
Ed

Yes Bernie, she did work for McMillen, and then went to work for Kalitta last year. Her name is Marla. The last time I talked to her she was going to be in training to help on the clutch.
