I have hope too... esp. for Fast Jack. But that Rockstar car is hurting. They've won one (1) round all year. Ouch...

Yep, the Champ is done yall. Are you kidding me? Are they struggling? Sure. They cant make it down the racetrack with the consistency they once had. They will find it and when they do, its back to winning again. Seems yall forgot he's won a race this year and been to a few finals. Not to mention going some rounds as well. Its not like a year or so ago when he didnt win a round till mid season and didnt win a race until Memphis.

The fat lady isint singing yet, matter of fact, she aint even hit 200 lbs yet.

Guys, you're all missing something. We are in a new era, one where there are huge limitations to developing any new technology that can provide a substantial gap between the top & bottom of the ladder. Force had Coil, Bernstein had Dale, and these guys were able to push the envelope from an R&D standpoint. Now, everyone pretty much has the same stuff, you can't just come out with a new, trick piece that will give you a hammer on the field 'til they catch up. So now it's about tuning to the conditions on raceday and having a driver do his/her job.

1. Tim Wilkerson - 1009
2. Tony Pedregon - 822
3. Robert Hight - 821
4. Ashley Force - 772
Cruz Pedregon - 772
6. Ron Capps - 723
7. John Force - 705
8. Gary Densham - 704
9. Mike Neff - 655
10. Jack Beckman - 581
I'm going to have to go with NO. I think JFR is alive and kicking.

force cars in finals of at least next 4 races in a row........
john victorious in brainerd, because that's just what happens in brainerd ;)

Didn't say he was done. Just asked if the emphasis is off him. ESPN not going to him very often these days. Unlike the past when even if he lost a round they interviewed him. In fact it seems like John is quiet these days. Maybe recent events have had a heavy impact on him.

I think John's basically prepping Robert and Ashley to take over the reins. He's got 14 championships, what else can he possibly prove?

How about testing? Is that still on hold. If so the least funded teams don't test anyway and the more funded teams can't try sometime new. Maybe lack of testing have leveled the field, I thought it would be the other way around.

New chassis, new tire, extra weight, different % nitro combined with testing restrictions have (in some cases) leveled the playing field. Look for the bigger teams (Force) to improve faster (more data) as time goes on with this rules package. ;)
