This is interesting! Required "immediately" at this week's race. GM Racing is providing the Delphi unit, a wiring harness and an operating manual to ALL "regular" P/S teams. A very generous gesture, but . . . did teams have any idea this was coming and do they have two days to install this so they can qualify Friday?
Hopefully, the wiring harness only requires a power feed and won't interfere with anything else. Not sure what the operating manual says, but I'm confident that the geniuses at NHRA Tech Department are 100% up to speed on this technology. - :rolleyes:

It wasn't a big deal to hook the one up that Ford supplys to the fuel racers. I don't believe it cost us anything either.
 
Its been in the works since Pomona. Quite a few cars already have them installed.
