Well headed to the left coast in a few weeks.Thinking about checking out the Peterson's Automotive museum and the hot rod museum. Is it worth the time and effort? How long should we allow for the visit for each?

Yes, and OH YES!... Couple- three hours minimum... Great displays and history at both.

Absolutely! The Peterson is about 4 times the size of the NHRA museum. I'd give yourself a whole day for the Peterson. There's a Jonny Rockets inside the Peterson to have lunch and the gift shop is killer. The NHRA museum is smaller. You can do it in a couple of hours.

If you can fit it in, the Car show at the Bob's Bigboy drive Inn on Riverside Drive in Toluca lake on Friday nights are NOT to be missed!

Both museums are well worth the visit!

For a really unique SoCal Automotive Museum try the Automobile Driving Museum where they'll actually take you for a ride in some of their very unique collection of cars. You can get up close to their collection and even touch them. ;)

if you need a car show fix on a specific day, visit SoCal Car Culture for dozens of car shows, usually on the weekends... Hot Rods, Exotics, Low Riders and everything in-between.

I'm amazed... A Chris Jackson post that gets positive feedback and doesn't temporarily stir up a sh!tstorm.
