Ford bailed out the NHRA when the GM deal went south with the collapse of GM.

Now NHRA, pay back GM for their support by converting the ridiculously expensive Pro Stock to cars actually produced by the automakers....and make them 4 speeds while you are at it.

Off the subject...does anyone know where I can get access to NHRA's organizational charter and bylaws?

I say this with the utmost respect but did I read your right? first you say you want pro stock to go back to being production cars (I don't think pro stock has been mechanically stock since 71 body wise sure even in the 80's)

But what has me confused is you say you want them to be 4-speeds, I am a bit out of touch do cars still come with 4-speeds from the factory?

I heard this a couple of weeks ago, long before the Agent got hold of it. When I asked my source if there was any money in the Chevy/Nationals deal his reply was they gave it away because of worry over possibly losing the Ford official car & truck deal.
