[coverattach=1] Nitro Nite of Fire to Host Pro Slammers
San Francisco, Ca - The 34th Annual Nitro Nite of Fire will host a laundry list of classes including the fastest growing class on the west coast, Pro Slammers Door Car Association. June 11th-12th are the dates for the battles to begin as points leader Mike Doushgonian tries to fend off the rest of the class and stay in the lead.
In just the first year Pro Slammers is the newest crave, as cars are being built or engines getting upgraded to join the fun of hassle free side by side drag racing action. This is one of the quickest door slammer index classes in the world and with side by side starts the fans really get their money’s worth and the track owners love that!
There are blown, naturally aspirated, turbo, and nitrous cars that are competing for the 2010 championship and with four races left there is plenty of time for the lead to change.
“The rules were kept simple to reduce any problems and to make it fun. So basically, you can run whatever you brung as long as you pass the NHRA Adv. E.T rules and the car has doors on it. At the first two events our #1 qualifiers have run 7.01 and 7.02 so you know the racing is tight”, says promoter Mike Henry.
On Friday June 11th the gates will open at 10am with a test session starting from 12pm to 4pm and qualifying beginning at 5pm.
