Anyone else notice the inappropriate phrase that was written on a sign in the crowd behind Mike and Dave this morning? It seemed like someone took action because the sign was gone about mid way through the show. I guess thats the danger of live (or near live) television.

The only sign which caught my eye was the one that said gas is for cleaning parts, alcohol is for drinking, and nitro is for racing. I liked that one. I didn't see any offensive signs.

That would have been the one. Its pretty inappropriate for any setting.

Say WHAT?! No way the word I'm thinking made it on TV! I missed the show so haven't a clue. What did the sign say? Was it just one word or????

The sign said something like "ESPN = N*G NOG".

That is a pretty racist term.

There was a variation in the usual spelling, but yes it made it on television.

I was there in Sonoma today at the Race Day show and didn't see any ESPN or NHRA crew ask anyone to remove any signs.....as far as I know.
