OK so whose going, this is going to be one of the best events this year (Pro mod fan here!) We need pics, so whose covering it? Whose going to spectate, wish it was me! Just too far without a driving partner, been there, done that and wow its a long haul from AZ!

Me!
I'm typing at ya from Fremont, near San Jose. Heading over there tomorrow.

Just back from a drive by the track at 1905PST. Temp has dropped to 57F, humidity increased to 45%. Skies cloudy with small patches of sky, mostly dark threatening clouds, and winds at 5-15MPH. It seems in the pits the rigs and trailers are parked back to the traps. A few back gate competitors still arriving. Their are some spectators in the stands, and parked out in the front parking area. ;)

Well, it is the West Coast Outlaw Pro Mods here and full WCOPMA results from this event are on their website, West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association.

Pictures from pro mod are up on my site, Quarter Mile Designs.

Should be a great Sacramento day for Racing here Saturday April 25, 2009. As I currently look out my window at 0900PST from the east to west from my location down the road from the track. Clear blue prestine skies, not a cloud in the sky from the Sierra's to the San Francisco Bay. Currently 65F with winds from 0-3MPH, just perfect conditions coming in. If they get them going early about now, the track should start coming in about 1100.;) If your going the weather will be optimum.:)

The weather was fine, what good is it to discuss the weather? Every team must race under the same conditions! I put on a jacket when the sun went down on Saturday nite and the left lane still sucks except for Mendy Fry's 6.38 on Friday afternoon in McCain's Bomb Squad.

didnt Nichols run a .24 in the left lane?

Pro Mod saw a 6.42 by Marc Meadors, 6.55 by Jay Diedrich and a 6.81 by Lee SMith in the left lane throughout the weekend...in the final Diedrich was on a .40 pass in the left lane until his blower belt broke at the 330
